Night Shift Radio Show

The show returns! JUNE 2009

Info

I was never particularly interested in radio until the summer of 2007 when I discovered LBC, a London based talk station. I became an avid listener and a year later had developed a big enough interest to want to try it out myself. I knew that presenting a talk show would be too difficult, so I decided I'd do a music show instead.

It was always going to be a Goth show and I believed that with enough promotion and interest it would succeed, and to a certain extent I was right.

The Night Shift first aired on Stickam on June the 19th 2008, we had a grand total of six listeners. The show's popularity grew over the summer and a regular group of listeners developed.

During September-October 2008 the show was taken off of Stickam and moved to Brunel University's radio station where it was unheard due to faulty equipment and the lack of a worldwide broadcasting system.

The show returned to Stickam sometime in November 2008 and remained for a few more months.

I then took a break but will be bringing the Shift back in June for a series of shows celebrating the one year anniversary of the Night Shift. If they're successful I will continue through the summer as best I can!

My thanks goes out to everyone that listens and I hope you enjoy the show!

KEEP THE FAITH

Robert.
